The Angama Foundation has provided the funding for the collaring and ongoing monitoring of an elephant in the Maasai Mara’s Nyekweri Forest by the Mara Elephant Project. The elephant, which was successfully collared in August, has been named “Fitz” by the MEP, after the late Steve Fitzgerald, one of Angama Mara’s co-founders.
